@kaloo: you know, that's not exactly the definition of fast...
@swordmuse: you know there's no such
@shogunkai: I actually think it's fine that you've picked it up, since Random Scanlations usually takes a long time between chapters and their use of grammar it's "ok" at best(though I've had to settle cause it's the only option available). Besides, it's always good to have someone else to go for my Sun-Ken Rock fix.
@Maxwell: Np :). I was having trouble getting in to the story because of their grammar. I'm translating it from the French raws since I'm fluent in it.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your hard work. I'm also extremely happy you provided mirror sites that are actually easily to download from. My computer doesn't do well with depositfiles or hotfile. I look forward to the next chapter! :)
hmm well alot of people like to start their own group and release a few chapters than disappears...i hope this will last... well thanks for the chapter
Seriously, there's tons of other mangas you could take instead. As a member of 4 scanlations groups and a translator at Random Scanlations, I feel it's pretty stupid for you to just jump in without asking if we could be working together on this one first. Joints have been done before.
And... taking a while? Dude, we just released a chapter (84 pages long IIRC) 2 weeks ago. Absolutely no honor code there.
@Nicolas: I didn't really think about that, I just wanted to get it done. I'm pretty much done cleaning ch.26 as well. I'm sure we could work something out.
Comparing both scanlations, it's true that shougn's translation is clearer, but shogun doesn't level, he doesn't, rotate, he doesn't redraw... He just cleans the bubbles and typesets... So I think both of them should do it together as a joint...
Code of honor? In pirating manga? Wait, it's not pirating if you say "support the mangaka", right? Everyone pirates Adobe Photoshop (which is made in almost every language) yet nobody says support Adobe. Seriously, honor of any kind on the internet? lolwut? This guy is being jumpy? Why don't you say that to all the Naruto/Bleach/One Piece scanlators (mind you, is already in English and sold at even the smallest book stores, pirating bastards!) that all release the same chapter 10 times? Some people really blow this crap out of proportion. Oh well, drama isn't too bad and I love a good argument >:D I honestly don't care where the manga comes from. As long as it's free. Quit being whiny little girls, complaining who does what. Just be happy you're reading this and somebody is kind enough to scanlate it. I must admit that ne0n4z1 and Nicolas made good points, aside from the honor BS. I can honorably say I'll DL whoever is faster lol
Just FYI ne0n4z1: I did level, re-draw and rotate. If you saw the quality of the raws you world notice the difference. I levelled it as much as I could without losing too much quality in the drawings.
@shogunkai: Great job on the scans. People seem to be a bit down because your scans are better, both quality-wise and with regards to grammar.
As masterz mentioned, there are many other scanlators doing the same manga, and there's no issues between them. You're here, fluent enough in French, and willing to do all of the work that it would take a team to do and in a short amount of time. Kudos.
@shogunkai You did redraw? The double page isn't touched... Nearly all the SFX that are there is because they were alredy there in French... and the ones you did insert were hardly that difficult to redraw...
Your translation is better, but comparing quality of the edits Random's is better...
Sorry for posting again but... all the pages seem a bit yellow... or greyish... And yes... you did do some pretty decent redrawing on page 16, and also, yes you did rotate... my bad... But still IMO it would be best if both of you joined forces and released some pretty damn decent scans =D
I think you're being a bit jumpy. They released less than 2 weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteYeah I know, just was interested in doing it anyways.
ReplyDeletetsk, where's the honor code for scanlation?
ReplyDeleteI still downloaded it. thanks lol
ReplyDeletethen why don't you try to help them? you know they got slow release because of need of help...
ReplyDeletety man keep up the good work. ignore the retards.
